MOTD - Welcome Adept to the system 2/3 version of the Online Rote Database. In order to use the extra features in the system 4 database you must upgrade to at least a system 4 browser such as Netscape 4 or I.E 4 (Warning - I.E 4 is $yndicate controlled. Use at your own risk).

This Database is a collection of many rotes discovered whilst travelling in the Digital Web. Some are rotes created by fellow VA's with the rest having been taken from the records of other traditions and even the technocracy.

IMPORTANT NEWS
The online rote database has remained virtually unchanged since 1996 and so it is long overdue for an update (Ok, I know this is version 2, but all that really changed from version 1 was minor cosmetic changes and a slight name change). Over the next few weeks I am planning quite a few changes and updates, the most important of which will be the long awaited downloadable offline version of the database (click here for more info).

As far as the site is concerned there will be quite a few cosmetic changes, but rest assured that it will stay low bandwidth with minimal use of graphics (this version uses no graphics!).
A new feature to the site will be the user submisson/maintenance page. This will allow for automatic addition to the database via a form. The most interesting part of this feature will be that once a rote has been submitted then the owner can log back in and make changes to all elements of the rote (spheres, tradition, detail etc) as often as he/she wishes.

Usage - Enter your magickal abilities below and then click on search. The database will then return the rotes that you are capable of performing. You can refine the search by selecting the tradition and author, and you can also select whether the rotes returned are an exact match with your abilities, or possible to be performed by you.
